About a year ago a quiet hush fell over the hunter community. Bigredkitty aka Daniel Howell announced he was quitting the game. His life was taking some changes and realized he had not prioritized very well. He didn’t just slow down he went cold turkey. Just shut things down all at once. The forum stayed alive with the help of the hunter community. And the blog was just in archive state. Then he posted a while back about a database crash and with that he hadn’t backed it up locally in a while so all was lost.

He had a booming blog that hunters and non hunters read daily awaiting the next bit of information. He had started doing movies for Project Lore, he had a very active forum that the hunter community helped him maintain and moderate. There was podcasts and spirit beast toys. Some out right badass shirts.Then one day he announced he was done, his personal life was being changed and it was because of many things including WoW.

Three days ago he posted about cooking a steak. But while trying to give the recipe he was interrupted by a phone call. This loudmouthed biologist with a fetish for crabs was being cryptic and pushy. While doing 110 in his Audi on the PCH it hit him. But what hit him was still unsure all we knew was Brandi was drinking mello yello and about to pour it out on his seats….

The next day another post trying to finally get the recipe for the steak out and again interrupted by the phone. This time the guy with the fetish for crustations is at Arby’s and they cant get his order right. and then starts to talk about summer plans and how Daniel is a sly dog. But the line was drawn and he apologized for going to far. Apparently Pike, she was the other hunter blogger BRK consulted in regards to anything not beastmastery, was scared of the picture on her caller id when she was called. With that a email was supposed to be sent.

Yesterday he posted about yet another attempt to get the recipe out for us to have and enjoy. Even went as far as turning off the phone. Just as he starts to begin doorbell rings….who could this be? Some dude wearing a brown uniform and carrying a small box. So he signs for it opens it up and ring a ding ding its a phone and is ringing. He answers it thinking wtf??? Its this guy Greg that has been harassing him for two days now about something he insinuated was the alpha test of Cataclysm. This time hes going on about sharpies and his girl wanting one. And then Greg is barking orders to his PA about the sharpies and emails. Finally he says BRK we need you in my alpha.

Pay is mentions and then shot down by the fact Greg had already paid tribute to Daniel via this weapon from Heroic Trial of the Crusader. The BRK 1000 a gun that smells faintly of raspberries….
So it looks like from all this that Greg is actually Chostcrawler from the WoW dev team and has invited Daniel to bring back Bigredkitty for the alpha. And since his son is going to be staying with his ex-wife for the summer Daniel is accepting the offer!

The hunter community is a buzz with this news, unsure if its a hoax and joke or is Bigredkitty really coming back? If you try to goto Bigredkitty.net you are welcomed with a very elusive comic.

Those damn enterprising goblins

We normally start raids on Thursday nights around 815 pm CST and we continue on Friday night at the same time. So I will be “going live” around that time. Please bear with me as sometimes I have technical difficulties and have to stop streaming briefly. I’m kinda new to this and working out the kinks. But my priority is to make sure I’m ready to hit the heal button so sometimes there will be kinks. Also if you are familiar with live streaming and could offer a hand feel free to send me a email and I will get back to ya.

She was approached a while back and they offered a nice little chunk of money to advertise on her blog. Which is ok I guess. Well to me its not OK. One of her “best” friends use to run the biggest hunter blog and web service around. He helped her get setup within the guild she was part of. To me that is why the gold sellers targeted her. Its called selective marketing. Knowing the hunter blogger would link to her site from time to time it was genius offering her some money for a add spot.

This has been bothering me for since it happened. I dunno maybe since she has a following and I found her site from BRK and Im sure others did also. That is why it is bothering me. Or maybe its the smug of just read the site through a reader and you wont see it comment..I prefer to view my favorite blogs the way they are created. I mean why goto the trouble of installing a skin and such if you would rather people read through a reader?

As of ten minutes before I started writing this the ad is still posted. Its just a two line add but it still promotes gold selling and account selling. Which IMO is lame and irresponsible on her part. Thats just my opinion and nothing more. But if you agree with me please email her through the contact me link on her site.

I truly feel special that he made the video to clown me. I really do. It shows his level of maturity sits right about at 14. Don’t get me wrong the guy is a god when doing installs but him and his staff at the forums are worse with power trips than Cris and Josh ever was.

I patiently waiting my time out until they realize I’m back with a new screen name and ip me or the vacation ends and I can clear up a couple things. I have a special video in store for Dave and Steve .

Somewhere around 1115 my ex wife called. I was expecting her to be all pissed about something instead she was almost crying. At this point I was prepared to tell her she would have to deal with whatever drama herself. She asked me what I was doing? I said eating lunch. About that time I swear the christian music I have to listen to everyday stopped playing. She said “Chris your Uncle Jack died this morning.”

My Uncle Jack is the man that started me in the electricians field. Every since I was a little kid I always looked forward to the summer when I could go stay with him and my cousins.Once I was released from active duty in the Army he helped me get a job as a electricians helper and then later recommended me to a place that would be better hours and pay. W couple years later I moved tot he town where I met my ex. In 2001 the factory I worked at closed 13 plants across the country. My Uncle offered me a job working for him in his business he started about four years prior. I worked for him for almost three years. Construction slowed a bit and I couldn’t be guaranteed enough hours so I had to take a job closer to home. About a year or so later I took and passed the Journeyman Electricians License test in Oklahoma.

For the past 8 years or so my uncle had been battling with diabetes and other illnesses. But the hard headed man he was he never gave up. He was told by many different doctor to straighten up and get his health in order. He would do so good for a while then stop doing what he was told. But he lived a good life and was loved by many people. He will be missed. A great deal.

Well she gave me Mulch’s number and told me give him a call. So I gave him a ring and we chatted for a few minutes and made plans to meet at his hotel he was going to be staying at. Around 730pm I get a phone call from Mulch and he tells me they have arrived in town. I was heading to grab some quick dinner for my daughter and my nephew. We made a quick turn around and ran back to the house to grab my nephew a shirt and since hes four and thinks playing outside means no shirt and most of the time no shoes:D. We then headed to the hotel where Mulch was at. I pulled in the parking lot and since I had only seen a very poor picture of him I really wasn’t sure who I was looking for. Well I was just about to give him a call when he walks out from between two cars and says my name.

We shoke hands and I introduced the two kids to him. He hoped in the truck and we headed to grab something to eat. I have to say I was surprised when I finally met Mulch. The person I had pictured in my head was definitely not who I met last night. Only because the only picture I ever seen of him was not the greatest and he hasn’t ever described himself. I’m not going to give away any details but let me tell you this if you haven’t met him and was to run into him in public you wouldn’t know it was him unless hewas to introduce himself.

I know the age old saying pictures or it didn’t happen right? Well your just going to have to take my word on this because had my phone/camera not decided it would be cool to shut down and not restart until just after we dropped him off I still wouldn’t post a picture here. See the mystery he has created is not my place to expose. I will say this tho if you live near him there is a really great chance that you probably have met Mulch and didn’t even realize it. Had I just ran into him at Wal-Mart or in some random place I probably wouldn’t have know it was him until afterwords.

I did have two kids with me so after we ate and I showed him the newest attraction of Branson I had to cut the visit short and get them home and in bed. He did however get some video of my daughter, nephew and I at the Fire and Light show at the Branson Landing. That hopefully I will be able to get my hands on after hes done with his trip. Oh yeah that…the reason he was in town. Well it seems he is the camera man for the Tornado Chasers that take people on trips to see mother nature rip the country apart:P. So its a good possibility that if you watch the weather channels shows on tornado chasing from this year its a good possibility that you will be watching footage Mulch took.

Well apparently me shutting him down 5 or 6 times was enough he created a lvl1 on my server and proceeded to tell me how much I suck. Now this is hte first time in a very long time I have had somebody roll on my server to tell me I how pathetic I am. The irony of this is a ret pally was the one teling me I suck….and that stunlock killing people is lame. A FREAKN RET PALLY SAID THIS. Well I got a good laugh and figured it would make for a good laugh for you guys.

Last Friday we had a thunderstorm blow between eight and nine in the morning. I was outside during the lunch rush picking up stuff that had blown around and trying to get things cleaned up. I had finally stopped raining around twelve. One of the ladies I work with walked up to me and we was chatting about some stuff when this woman comes outside and tells her friend in their truck “I’m not doing that shit again!” Her friend asks why? She responded with “this old guy got pissed cause I got our food first and he only had one sandwich.” At which point the older guy walks out the door ans says”You think your a smartass huh?” The first girls says”NOPE but I do know I got my food before you did ASSHOLE!” At which point I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. I went inside to find out what had happened and the manager on duty said apparently the girls order was handed out first and the older guy got upset and chewed her and the girl at the counter out.
